Excellent pizzas, overall Italian cuisine much, much better than most upper scale Italian eateries, on the North Shore. Pleasantly surprised.

Had lunch yesterday and food, service was not what it use to be. Order carbonara which was missing the pancetta and peas! Missing those items and no flavor. Did owners change?! No bread, when we asked for Italian bread, there was a $2 charge, ridiculous. Waiter must know the decline, as they never asked "how is everything? " What happened to this place? Very sad.

Satisfying Italian food, a bit slow service in the restaurant area. Excellent choices of different varieties of pizza slices and calzones. Good place to have conversation during your lunch. Parking on the Lake Success shopping area could be a challenge during weekday lunch or dinner hours and on weekends

What an amazing place! I really enjoy visiting, dine and just being there. The food is delicious and the service is exceptional. Its nothing but perfection there. I tried the buffalo chicken pizza and penne alla vodka it delicious. This place is highly recommended for a date, casual lunch, pickup or however you want it to be.

Iavarone! Yummissimo! We had already been there a few years ago to dine and had a blast. Such great service. We don't come to this part of town very often so we don't get to frequent Iavarone as much as we'd like. But make no mistake, everything is good from Antipasto to Zucchini. From pizza to pasta, and they treat you the same if you are there for a little or for a lot...like family. Old World hospitality, modern taste.

Piçked up a sausage pizza last nite...it was awful hardly any cheese no sauce... pizza is normally pretty good I was very disappointed ...for 24 dollars I think they should make a much better pie. , won't be back anytime soon

Was there a few days ago, the rolls they serve were not cooked at all so I asked for Italian bread and was told they don't have any. the waitress then found some. So today, my family went there for my Moms 92nd bday. Same issue, the rolls were uncooked dough. We asked the waiter for Italian bread, he said they don't have any. I asked what they serve the heros on, and he had the nerve to say "WE CANT GIVE YOU THAT" Not oh im sorry, how can I make it right. I said if we weren't waiting for 2 other people to arrive, we would have walked out! so, my husband went next door and bought 2 loaves of bread! The waiter was uninterested in us at that point, ignored us for awhile, then finally took the order, and never once after that came by to see if we needed anything. I will say the food was really good. when we left, he was just as rude even though we tipped very well, which im sorry we did. Can u imagine an Italian restaurant especially Ivarone, with no bread?? C'mon.

Cauliflower pizza was unique. Not sure if I would get it again. It is probably something you need to try a few times to like it.

Don’t bother. My take out order was never placed “by the manager”. Wrong beverages were given to me. Looks like a place run by 10 year olds. Much better options in the area.

We wanted cocktails with our meals. 3 orders of vodka with seltzer and lime. They Came in wine glasses , um that’s wrong, but said they had no other glasses . Get the bill....$30.00 for just the drinks. You crazy? We got smaller drinks due to them not washing dishes and charged more than usual (usually $7.00 A drink). Place is a rip off. We complained and they offered to “top it off”, top what off we were done and leaving. So many better places by them to get lunch. Which we will do from now on. Stay away from them, rip off and they do not care about their customers.

I had and enjoyed their roasted Onion & cheese onna Focaccia & lemme tell you, it's OUT OF SIGHT!!! The specialty slices are unique & prepared well 👍 and when you're done eating...walk it off next door at the market as you plan your next meal😊

Has been a place where I meet an old friend for dinner every two or three months. Monday night was one of those occasions. Waitress distracted all night talking to someone on another table. We finally flagged down a second waitress so we could order our food. Once the food came it was so so hot ( straight out of the microwave)I had to wait even longer to eat it!

When I want pizza, I always come here and is satisfied every time. It’s nice inside and their pizza is AMAZING. I recommend their grandma slices but all taste amazing. They also have some creative slices like potato slices and stuff which I haven’t seen before and tastes really good. The price isn’t very expensive and the service is nice and everything is very clean.

This restaurant is my favorite site. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. Whenever I want to go to a special lunch, this is the place that comes right away to my head. exeptionalgorgeous and all kinds of food and a large menu.trained crew, and great spirit. In addition to that, the charge is good. I suggest this spot with no doubt.

If I had to rate just the food it would be 5 stars. Delicious and served hot. All our meals were great. The service was 3stars. The wait staff are super nice but slow. This place gets packed with people waiting the length of the restaurant. We were almost done with our meal before we were asked if everything was ok and if we need anything. It’s so busy I think the staff is overstretched. Since the food is sooooo yummy I recommend coming in on an off peak time. They have a store next door to bring home food also.

Food Market is great BUT their cafe next door disappointing...Yesterday went there for lunch and we couldn’t wait to get the Chicken Caesar Salad in pizza dough bowl.Price went up and quality way down!No longer in a warm and well done bowl but cold, pale and limp! Not the right greens, instead of nicely grilled and moist chicken strips...chopped up bland and tasteless and had to request dressing! Should have sent them back!Note: went here often when lived and worked in the area, we were celebrating another friend’s birthday and didn’t want to report food issues accordingly since she ordered something else without a complaint.

Back in 1977 I used to go to this pizza restaurant when I worked for SPERRY GYROSCOPE. I have to say they really FIXED this place UP. The pizza is great went here with a lady I used to work with. LENA.But what I really have to say is that the staff is very polite and understanding and respectful. The LENA is in her early 90's. This is a hidden GEM best Pizza in the area... we kept trying the burnt stuff from the pizza place in the paper but found this and no comparison, this is the BEST pizza for miles!!!

Overall pretty decent pizza; however, it is at times inconsistent and also fundamentally flawed. Tomato sauce with grandma pizza is too liberally applied; moisture content of sauce is too high--as a result the pizza is routinely quite soggy, and overall varies wildly slice to slice. Use less sauce and use sauce with a lesser moisture content to preserve the integrity of the crust. Furthermore, don't put sauce in chicken rolls. When you bake a roll containing tomato sauce, the bread absorbs moisture from the sauce, becoming soggy while leaving behind a thickened tomato paste. Sauce stays out of rolls, rolls can be dunked in sauce. This is especially true for rolls which will be subject to reheating after sitting in the display case for hours.
